There has been increasing publicity recently about the understandable concerns over the cocktail of potentially harmful chemicals and ingredients used in cosmetics.

Some people flippantly consider this publicity to be scare-mongering - but what is more important than your health and your family's health?

We have worked tirelessly over the past two years to produce a range of environmentally responsible products aimed at the discerning customers who take the trouble to read ingredient listings and are concerned about their own and their family's long term well being.

Here are some of the controversial but commonly used ingredients WE EXCLUDE:

* Parabens - linked to breast and testicular cancer.
* Sodium Lauryl Sulphate - carcinogenic. Can irritate eyes
   and skin.
* Formaldehyde - suspected of being carcinogenic. Linked to
   asthma and headaches and can irritate eyes and throat.
* Triclosan - may upset the functioning of naturally occurring
   "good" bacteria.
* Copolymers - can cause respiratory problems.

No short cuts have been taken and wherever possible we have used organic ingredients. We have been working closely with the Soil Association and the Vegetarian Society so that many of our products will carry the Accreditation of these most reputable monitoring authorities.
